My Story

Hi, I’m Alise, a UX/ UI Designer with 3+ years of professional design experience. I’m originally from Washington state where, yes it “always” rains. I’ve always been an artist, drawing since I was 3 years old!

My desire to become a web designer sprouted from needing to “wear a lot of hats” while working for a start-up. Web design became my main focus and I transitioned into freelance design and now to run the Art of Kind Design Studio.

I have always been able to learn technology quickly, and want to bring that same sense of ease to others! When designing for small, or medium sized businesses I want to help you put your best foot forward and really shine.

Besides design, I also do copywriting and email marketing, it’s just fun to do both

When I’m not designing or writing, I spend my time outside by the water or in the forest. My three favorite “sports” are snowboarding, aerial silks and soccer! I’m always down to try new physical activities though.. If you see me, then you’ll probably see my shih tzu Buddy close behind.
