Vela App

A web app for surfers, divers and sailors. Vela is designed to be easy and enjoyable to use, with our #1 goal to keep people safe on the water.

The apps on the market are often cluttered and overwhelming, or have a big learning curve to use.

With Vela we aimed for an intuitive interface in which people can see weather, plan trips and learn in forums!

Doc Swinson's Whiskey

Doc Swinson's is a Washington based whiskey blending and bottling company. They needed a redesign and refresh to show off their high-quality product and down to earth team.

We also wanted to keep the structural integrity of the site so I have been working on understanding the user and helping them update the site to meet the business and user goals.

This project is still on-going.

Role: UX research, design and copywriting.

Cat Enright Yoga Therapy:

A Bellingham yoga therapist, Cat needed a website that fit her personality and style. We took her from an out-dated website and slow platform, to a beautifully designed website.

Her website not only got a face-lift, it also now gets the user to their goals faster when I adjusted the sitemap and information structure of content.

Role: Web design, branding, logo, information architecture.
